Let's take a peek...

Here's a peek at cards I designed recently for a couple of friends. I just love the flourishes on this one, and the background has a bit of a vintage look to it.

And the faded pink background on this one has such a delicate look to it, with the pink flower seeming to pop off the card. I have been working on a few cards for men, which will be posted in a few days so don't forget to check back!

Natural Beauty..

My new design for Valentine's Day is a simply beautiful. It's bouganvillea flowers with a backdrop of the Caribbean Sea. Decorated with a beveled border, floral accents and a few red droplets. It's so therapeautic for me to look at, reminding me of a wonderful and refreshing day at the beach. What does this little image do for you?

DigiArt Frenzy

This week has certainly been a busy one, I've been doing quite a bit of digital art: scrapbooking, cardmaking, and designing labels and business cards, so I haven't posted over the last few days, but check back over the weekend and there'll be a few new things for you to feast your eyes on. Until then, bye-bye.

What A Weekend!

Wow! It was really good. I work on Fridays, and I didn't go anywhere Friday night, so my weekend "officially" began on Saturday. In the morning, it was all about cardmaking - I made four complete cards, and did some prep work for some more. Here is one of them, a simple pink card bordered with silver borders and a central 3D image, using Penny's Leaves design. :)

A Quick Thank You

This little card was nice and quick to make. I had printed that background a while ago and was just waiting for the right image to place it with. I think I found a great match in this image by NicoleG which I used as a topper. Thanks for sharing Nicole :)

Talk About 3D!

This super gorgeous flower is an image by Alan & Barry Crafts. When I saw this one, I just had to try it out. After assembling, it's embellished with beautiful gold accents and corner stickers.

Here's a close-up of the card lying flat, showing off its 'true dimensions'. If you like it, leave a comment and lemme know!

Thinking of You "Spring Card"

This is called a spring card because of the way it folds flat in an envelope then 'springs' up when taken out of the card. Here is the front view

And here are two pics of the card open. Enjoy!

For A Wonderful Aunt

I did another glitter card, this time for my wonderful aunt who is living in the U.S.A.

It's black with squiggle lines done in burnt orange, outlined with gold glitter.

Shimmering...

I found this lovely vintage poinsettia image and just had to try it out. I glittered the edges of the card with gold polyflakes.

Cards Galore!

The cards with images of cardinals and robins were made with hand painted toppers by Mary Helen Sims, a very talent artist. (Thank you Mary Helen for your wonderful work). The teabag tiles on these cards were also made with her images.

Vintage Holly - All Glittered Up!

This card came about as a bit of a surprise. I saw the image and decided I must use it this Christmas. After about a half hour of trying different layouts, I thought - wonder how it would look with glitter. And here it is in all its shimmering glory.

Oh Green - I Luv It!

Honestly, the holly images were just begging me to use them, so with green and cream card paperpapers in hand I went to work to created these beauties. The 3d sheets and images used are Penny Wessenauer creations. Thank you for viewing.

Tinkerbell Christmas

I made this lovely 3d Christmas card for my goddaughter who loves Tinkerbell. Parts of the image are layered and glittered with polyflakes.

The pics are of the same card taken with two different photo settings, and different backgrounds.

Christmas Is Fast Approaching!

Hello again, it's been a while since I've posted, but with good reason :) I've been creating lots of new cards for you to see. These are embroidered cards, done with shimmering threads on white or pale yellow backgrounds. Every one is different - everytime I tried to replicate a layout or style, I ended up with a completely new design all together. LOL!

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to all you wonderful dads & fathers out there. And kudos to those single parents who had to be 'mother and father' to their children as well!
